A “picturesque” view of a new horizon contrasts the inner anxiety of an uncertain, ever-changing life.
A story of a journey into a place of unfamiliar faces, places, and culture, told through a photographic memoir one photo at a time. All culminates to an exploration of fear, growth, and change. A “picturesque” view of a new horizon contrasts the inner anxiety of an uncertain, ever-changing life.
“Photographs are but a fragment of information, on its own it is incapable of conveying the whole truth but also its beauty.”
This zine is a story crafted by rearranging the photos I took during my exchange study in Belgium. The narrative is a blend of fiction and reality, connecting each photo to the next to create a thematic, cohesive journey.
